Who are you?
Hi! I’m Meghan MacMillan. I’m an artist and a mom, and I’m the one painting the paintings, listing the products online, promoting myself on social media, answering emails, and fulfilling all your orders! If you’d like to learn more about me or what inspires my artwork please visit the About page.
Where can I see your awesome artwork in person?
Aw, shucks! You can find me at various art festivals and shows, all listed in the Google calendar at the left. You can also join my mailing list to get updates on upcoming events, coupon codes, and previews (and pre-sales!) of new work!
Alternatively, I would love to host you for a studio visit! Please contact me to arrange your visit.
What is up with all the red dots on your Shop page?
During gallery shows a red dot is used to mark a painting that has sold. I do not remove sold paintings from my shop because I want YOU to be able to see the entire collection, not just what is available to buy, just like a brick and mortar gallery would!
What currency do you use?
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars.
Why don’t you charge sales tax?
In short, I don’t yet sell enough product to need to pay sales tax to the government, so I don’t make you pay them either. That might change in the future!
How quickly will my purchase ship?
I will personally package your order and ship it within 1-3 business days. I will email you a tracking number (if applicable) as soon as it ships.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Please contact me to set this up.
Your shipping prices seem expensive. What’s up with that?
You’re right! Properly packaging and safely shipping a painting is not cheap. I want to make sure that your artwork makes it to you as quickly and safely as possible.
I hope eventually the more paintings I ship the less expensive it becomes. I will adjust my shipping prices periodically to make sure you get the best deal.
In the meantime you have the option of picking up your painting directly from my studio in Fort Saskatchewan. Please contact me if you would like to explore this option!
I live overseas. Who is responsible for customs fees?
Because customs fees fluctuate drastically depending on the value of the artwork and the country of import, you as the customer will be responsible for paying any outstanding customs fees when your package arrives.
What is Square? Is it safe to use over the internet as a payment method?
Yes! I have used Square as a payment method in person and over the internet for more than 5 years, and I (nor my customers) have ever experienced a problem. Learn more about paying through Square here: www.squareup.com/ca
